Adventures in NYC Part 2

Hey Inquisitive writers! So this is the second part of my Adventures in NYC series. Missed the first part? Check it out here.

NYC

My favorite part of NYC is Midtown. For the previous post, I wrote about Western Midtown. Once we booked a Double Tree Hilton hotel in Eastern Midtown. The link to the hotel we booked at is here.

The hotel was in the Eastern Midtown/Turtle Bay area and we walked around that area.

We booked a one bed/one bath suite.

It was kind of convenient having a bistro right next to the hotel ,too (although we didn’t eat there) We walked a lot, since we stayed for about a day and a half.

NBC Studios!

A great place for coffee is Gregory’s Coffee. Even though if you believe Starbucks is the best place for coffee (which I believed) I would definitely give Gregory’s a try. You can check out their instagram feed here.

We also went to this place called “Paris Baguette“. I tried their cheese soufflé, and it was really good! The nutrition facts for it is here ,too. They have a multitude and variety of French cuisine. But it can get crowded, like how it is in the second photo down below.

Speaking of cafes, Au Bon Pain (which means “with good bread in French) is a very good cafe bakery. It’s a French cafe bakery, where you can customize what you buy. For example, (in the second photo down below) you can make your own coffee, soup, and other beverages. I filled myself up on a strawberry lemonade (which had actual strawberry seeds in it) in my cup. You can also get some bread and pastry items. You pay a bit more, but the price isn’t outrageous. You get a lot for what you pay for.

After stopping by Au Bon Pain, we saw something pretty cool. So, on this trip we went around Christmas time, so it’s obviously cold outside. But around NYC there are these things called “public spaces”, which is a very big room where you can enter, take a seat, and relax if it’s really cold or really hot outside. And it’s free.

NYC is truly a wonderful sight at night. There is no way you won’t feel the city vibe at night. It is the city that never sleeps, you know.

The Chrysler Building! Very beautiful at night.

Stopping by at Starbucks to get a pumpkin spice latte.
